The year is 2012 and the world continues to present itself with all types of social problems but other than some bad financial storms on the stock markets and continuing aggressive storms from weird weather patterns everyone and everything is business as usual.
I enter through the doors of RadialWaveAnimatron and take a seat in the waiting room. The atmosphere is similar to a doctors office and somehow I sense that in the back rooms of this building there are scientists working on some of the most high tech inventions that will drive the populations of tomorrow. My reason for volunteering my body for the experiments that I am about to be put through are personal...well to tell the truth, I am doing it because I need the credits and because the world outside of these doors doesn't fit my personality. People continue to be driven by old worn out standards based on the inventions of the past. The world of tomorrow in my opinion lies in a product that the invention guy in one of those back rooms is studying. My reason to being here is that I am a guinea pig in an experiment that might just force change on those who are trapped in old systems. The inventor needs to patent the invention and the invention product, I am told, is called the Crystal Change Accelerator. The process is simple and nearly painless. The inventor is a computer tech expert and he works with crystals and nanobots.
If I understand this correctly, he pricks me with a needle full of these tiny little robots and within a few minutes my wave patterns start picking up different energy frequencies and I go through some wicked mind space time experience.
It has something to do with the ability of crystals to carry different vibrational patterns. Somehow this geek inventor has placed 13 crystals in a room configurated in sequence with the position of the constellations of the sidereal zodiac and so on and so forth.
The patented invention if it ever gets through the patent invention office will have benefits in all areas of health and healing and the inventor is sure that it is that panacea and the mother of all inventions.
I'm really only doing it for the credits. I have read about other great, albeit mythical inventors who came up with the panacea of healing and I can imagine that such a great product as the Crystal Change Accelerator wouldn't make it passed the type who plays the role which Zeus played when Asclepius was on the edge of making things better for the human population.
Basically likely the best that will ever come of the Crystal Change Accelerator will be that it will be commercialized as yet another great entertainment gadget.
Think of the potential of such an invention to the world of entertainment. The inventor, in this case, RadialWaveAnimation, sells the rights to franchise merchants who set up shop in movie type studios. The client puts up a few credits and reserves a spot in the game and the experience begins.
